Hi! I am Romina Bacci, the creative person behind MILES OF LIGHT, a botanical paper goods online store. I am originally from Argentina and I hold a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design. I began experimenting with photography when I moved to the United States with my husband in 2004. We live in McKinney, Texas and I work from my home studio while raising our baby boy.

MILES OF LIGHT was founded in 2009 when I wanted to display the collections of natural elements I had at home. I had the idea of creating these botanical series while organizing my nature collections in boxes, I thought it would be nice to photograph them and give them a longer life. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and painting also, so some of my illustrations and my botanical images are featured in a variety of products such as art prints, cards, bookmarks and calendars.

My work has been featured in a number of publications online and in the press around the world such as HGTV Magazine, Real Simple blog, D Home magazine, Verily Mag, Frankie Australia, Elle Interior Sweden, Free People blog among others. And since April 2014 some of my prints are available at West Elm Dallas.

I dream of expanding Miles of Light into a home and everyday accessories line, and I'll be incorporating new items in the near future.

I see my work as raw and honest, organic and clean.
And I hope it brings a bit of the goodness of nature to your home or somebody's life.
