MY HAPPY HOBBY ♥ STORY From Lyubava Crochet to the Milimagfa Brand.
Hello and welcome! Nice to see you in my new brand name Milimagfa Shop.
Crocheting and knitting has always been my greatest passion and my happy hobby.
* CROCHET & KNITTING - MY DNA! From an early age I loved to draw, sew, knit and crochet clothes for dolls. I tried to crochet for the first time when I was a little girl, just about 4 or 5 and I liked it so much! I learned crochet and knit stitches sooner than I learned to read letters. My dad taught me the basic stitches. He watched his mother, my grandmother also loved to knit. Crochet and knitting - it's in my DNA! :)
Milimagfa - unique mix of letters from my creative family's names. Now this is the official brand name of my Lyubava crochet and knitting crafts. All Lyubava crochet patterns belong to the Milimagfa Trade Mark.
* HOW I STARTED.
I have been crocheting for over 45 years. I opened this shop just to sell my hand crocheted home decor items: doilies, tablecloths, coasters, curtains, bedspread etc. Crochet lace is very popular for home decor here in Cyprus and everywhere! Then I made some scarves, the most easy and useful handmade crochet gifts. I made my crochet scarves so unique and special, and some of you mentioned sophisticated ones... I received so many questions about the patterns, and I started to learn how to make patterns, how to create PDF files... I had no idea how... and I bought some patterns here, on Etsy, just to see what is this, crochet patterns? :)) I didn't like them. I made my patterns my way: I added as many pictures as possible... I hope you will enjoy my patterns as much as I enjoyed creating them.
* CROCHET PATTERNS - PDF files with detailed written instructions in English (only), in U.S. crochet terms, with a lot of tutorial pictures for your convenience. English is not my native language. For many years I have been using 3 languages in my everyday life; two would be easy, three - confusing :)) So, please forgive my grammar mistakes. On the other hand, my patterns are very easy to follow if you know just basic crochet stitches, American Crochet Abbreviations and a little English :)) I like to write patterns in English, - it's a perfect gymnastic for my brain.
* MY ETSY SHOPS.
For many years I was running 2 shops, but now it's become not so necessary, Etsy has added many new options since then... All in one is easier. :) So, I will continue to add my finished physical products to this shop again, and of course, I will continue to write new patterns (after a 5 years break :). I used to love coming up with new patterns and I miss that filing...
This year I am celebrating 12 years as an Etsy seller!
* MY FAVORITE MOMENTS.
My favorite working places: Most of all in my work I like crocheting or knitting time, when I am just sitting-crocheting-or knitting-listening to some kind of interesting books, beautiful calm music and dreaming... on my comfortable chair at my flower balcony or at the beautiful beaches near the Sea, or up in the magnificent Troodos mountains of Cyprus... I feel like I am doing nothing! :) This is the best happy-lazy time! And I am happy when I am in the yarn shop, and yes, I do like computer work, not so much :)
* MY GOAL.
My goal is to create one-of-a-kind crochet and knitting fashions that will be treasured by me and many others. I like to create crochet and knitting designs/patterns that would be original and unique, easy to follow and easy to make, useful and wearable, and that can be wonderful gifts for family and friends.

I changed the name of my shop... I feel that I would like to come back to knitting with needles :), and LyubavaCrochet is not quite right name and I decided to rename my shop and work to Milimagfa. 34000 + sales! Crochet and knitting, patterns and finished products, my own designs! I think it could be even more :). But I'm satisfied anyway. I have a lot of happy Etsy customers, enough yarn and ideas to keep me busy and life is sweet. :) I can say - I am a crochet designer now! Thank you, Etsy!
