About Mill2Make Woodworking
Welcome and Thank You for visiting my shop ~ Mill2Make. I have a passion for woodworking and hope to instill that love in my son and daughter. I quickly realized that it was important to me to personally mill the wood I wanted to use in projects in order to have a hand in every step. With that desire, I started my company, Mill2Make. Using locally sourced wood that is milled on my farm allows me to create unique and sustainable items for your home. And I’m happy to share that my son lends a helping hand when I fire up the wood mill to cut a huge log, move slabs into the dryer, and eventually move a slab into my shop to transform the wood into useful and beautiful items.
I'm not sure if I can pinpoint what inspired or led me on the path of woodworking, but I have always been creative and liked working with my hands. As an industrial designer for almost 25 years by trade, I have a love for design and aesthetics. I also have a passion for woodworking and building and have been making furniture and crafts for as long as I can remember, but only as a hobby.
