How MimearWorld Began
If I were to tell the story honestly…
MimearWorld didn’t begin with a business plan
or a polished brand concept.
It began with a woman named Miw,
and the tiny world she carried inside her a world full of cuteness, imagination, soft colors, and the kind of charm you rarely find in handmade jewelry today.
Miw has loved crafting since she was young.
Anything small, sweet, miniature, or whimsical
she would pick it up, adjust it, add detail, add magic.
But life didn’t take her into art school
or the creative world.
One day she asked quietly:
“Why isn’t anyone making jewelry the way we dream of?”
Everything in the market felt the same.
Nothing dreamy.
Nothing fairycore.
Nothing cute, bold, or fantastical.
And in that moment, We realized:
if the world didn’t have the cute handmade jewelry we wished existed,
then we needed to create it ourselves.
In the beginning we had nothing
no studio, no worktable, no real space.
Just a bed covered with materials,
a tiny room,
and barely enough budget to start.
But we had two things that mattered:
her determination,
and my belief in what she could create.
Our first shop sold simple fashion accessories.
Easy to buy, easy to sell
but not “us.”
There was no magic, no story, no art…
and no heart behind it.
So we rebuilt everything as Mimear,
bringing in the handmade pieces Miw crafted one tiny detail at a time.
When we introduced them, people said they were beautiful… but no one bought. They only saw the price, not the value of handcrafted work, unique details, and one-of-a-kind charm.
Still, I believed something deeply.
When a piece carries the artist’s soul,
it will eventually find the person it belongs to.
So we shifted little by little
from mostly mass products,
to half handmade,
to fully handmade today.
The price of each piece evolved naturally over time not because we wanted it to rise, but because the craftsmanship, detail, and artistic value grew with it.
In the early days, we had around fifteen collectors in Thailand.
Not many
but I remember every name,
because each one helped this little world grow into what it is today.
The first time Miw cried wasn’t about money or sales. She missed the delivery truck, and a customer would receive their piece one day late.
That moment taught me something important:
This is the heart of Mimear.
Real handmade work.
Real care.
Real emotion.
From that day on, our culture formed naturally not through rules or formal instructions,but through real care from the people who work here.
