Here to give back.
Greetings!
I am Minna, & I live in NE Minnesota with my wife Al, a rescue cat (Lucky), and a rescue dog (Quentin). Our cozy home is surrounded by nature, good people, and wide open skies; they give me the inspiration for many of the things I create.
All of my pieces are very personal to me: I see them as extensions of myself. Everything I work on comes with a bit of spark and plenty of love.
I support various causes, from animal rescues, making and donating baby quilts, Dress for Success, making reusable cloth grocery bags for the local food shelf, and the nearby domestic violence shelter and service center.
As a survivor of domestic violence, and someone who does her best to triumph over PTSD and anxiety daily, I find therapy in the making of pretty, useful, and joy-bringing things. "Let art be your sanctuary" is something I came up with to describe what it means to me, and I hope that you find it in the things I make.
I appreciate your business, and helping me invest in others!
