I have always been a choker and lace lover since the 90s, even fascinated by the style from the Victorian era.
The choker necklace has a long and storied history from ballet accessories in the 19th century, elite fashion jewelry, and even traditional wearable among the tribes in the world.
I moved to Paris years ago. I really adored the parisienne life style, but something was missing. When I think back on these times, I was looking for a little something that can add flirty and distinctive touch to a chic parisienne look to create my unique identity as an outsider in Paris.
Thats when I started to bring back the chokers. Other than wearing them for the special occasions, this time, I started to make my own simple choker that can match my outfit of the day.
Surprisingly, not only my friends showed their interest, but colleagues at work did not seemed to be bothered by it. That was the moment I decided to make a lifestyle choker for everyone.
Whether you have a different perspective on choker and its application, in the end, its all about how you want it to be. For me, what is new about choker is that, nowadays, we can match for any occasion such as work, dinner invitation, parties and what not as a form of unique self-expression.
Choker is no longer a fancy accessory. It can be our everyday lifestyle.
