PumpPal™ a design by necessity by a tubie's dad
As a parent of a child with a G-tube, I know firsthand the daily challenges of home enteral feeding. When our daughter was finally discharged from the NICU where she had spent the first 4 months of her life, we quickly became frustrated with the restrictive nature of her feeding equipment. We were constantly struggling with bulky, semi-portable IV poles or relying on makeshift solutions like hanging her 500mL feeding bag from door knobs and command hooks. I wanted to give our daughter—and our entire family—a return to normalcy and true mobility.
That desire led me to invent our portable enteral pump stand, the PumpPal™. Designed specifically for the Moog Infinity pump, the stand features a stable, horizontal base that can sit safely right next to your child on any table, chair, or sofa. It includes a removable pole and a secure hook, ensuring the bag hangs at the perfect height for safe gravity flow without the pump drawing in air.
I am the original designer and inventor of this device, and I currently hold a provisional patent for its unique design. I personally 3D print every stand from my home workspace to ensure the highest quality. Because each stand is individually crafted and we want to ensure every detail is perfect, we will initially operate as a low-volume shop as we get the business ramped up.
