As In Life - Our Shop is Always a Work In Progress
Creating unique, quality products for others to enjoy is what we do. We put our hearts and creativity into every item. Our eclectic style can be seen in the wide variety of products that we offer. That variety is why we are "Misc. K. Designs".
I've always been creative and artistic. Over the years I've enjoyed creating with many different mediums. I took a welding class in the spring of 2016 and have been loving this new skill. Working with multi media, found wood, stone and scrap metal are some of the most fun pieces I've done. Free form and abstract are my style.
Meanwhile, Jeff has a passion for carving stone which he does with incredible talent and attention to detail. With a tiring day job and almost endless home projects, he doesn't have time to carve nearly as much as he'd like.
We do several local shows each year in the Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID area. That's where you'll see my larger/heavier pieces, and new items that haven't been posted here yet. Follow me on Instagram @karen_kotlarz and Jeff @jeff_kotlarz_sculpture_ to see the new pieces.
