Why I spell Miscelenious wrong and what the heck are Flippity Doo Dads

Founded in 2015, Miscelenious was 10 years in the making. Inspired by a family of entrepreneurs and inventors, I decided it was time to pursue some of my many ideas that have been percolating for years. The name Miscelenious comes from a nickname given to me by my aunt, Celia Wright, one of the founders of Flynn Wright Advertising Agency. She would call me Miss - Eleni -ous. It also perfectly conveys the broad spectrum of ideas I hope to eventually pursue. The first of which being Flippity Doo Dads, an affordable way to add style and pizzazz to a pair of otherwise plain & simple flip flops.

I have always loved wearing inexpensive rubber flip-flops you can find almost anywhere. Every Spring, I buy all the new colors along with basics - black, white, silver, etc and wear them as far into Fall as I can. But for quite some time I've wanted to find a way to jazz them up so I can wear them to more places. I found plenty of already embellished flip-flops, but they were much more expensive and the decoration was permanent. I couldn't find anything that was interchangeable and affordable, so I decided to create something myself. Flippity Doo Dads go on easily and are barely noticeable to the wearer.
