My Hopes
I had just started college at the beginning of January 2025. I worked at Starbucks but ultimately left. At the end of the month, my father died suddenly and unexpectedly. I was heartbroken. With everything going on, I dropped all of my classes. It was too much additional stress and pressure that I couldn't handle. I did everything in my power to distract myself from what was going on in my life. I turned to crafts, video games, reading, and watching TV. I spent a lot of time scrolling on Instagram and Pinterest. I saw people were making their notepads, and it looked fun to me. My boyfriend had gotten me a Cricut machine, and that's when I started making stickers. I was so excited. Since I didn't have a job, it was a great time to get on my computer and start designing notepads. I hope that this can become a profitable shop, and I'm eagerly anticipating my first orders.
