To me Handmade = Quality, Time, & Love!!!
As a young girl I can remember...... sitting at my moms sewing machine and trying to sew like I saw her do often..... And picking up a crochet hook and yarn after seeing a blanket my mother received for my little brother because I wanted to know how to make one. Out of my love for crafts and handmade items I started out making gift baskets, Having many passions it became hard to do just one. I began baking, card making, sewing and picked back up my love for knitting and crocheting. One of the signature items in my gift baskets were knit or crocheted baby blankets. Out of my love for knitting and crocheting and wanting to "Give the gift of handmade" items prompted me to open my Etsy shop Mitchell's Creations in 2006.
At Mitchell's Creations you will find a variety of handmade items from knit and crochet afghans, scarves, teddy bears, as well as other handmade items to accessories to aid you with your knit and crochet projects such as project bags and stitch markers. Each item in my shop is made by me for you. I put thought, time, and care into picking quality products to make quality items for my shop. The items in my shop are things made by me that I like and/or developed a need for and I love to share them with you.
