    Owner, Shepherdess, Fiber Artist

Shepherdess for over 25 years. I enjoy the process from beginning to end. Starting with raising the sheep to spinning their wool into yarn. It is not the most glamorous job, but one that I wouldn't trade.

    Owner, Cardmaster

The dreamer behind the mill. She raises the sheep, and he keeps the mill up and running. The mill would not be a reality without this guy!

Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

When making our dryer balls, we go by weight. Our Dryer Balls will vary a little in size, as some wool felts down more than others. The size of our dryer balls are similar to a tennis ball.

How long do dryer balls last?

Dryer balls last a long time, a year minimum.
If they start to look a little worn, you can wash them in a hot water cycle. After they are dry, you can trim them up if needed.

How many dryer balls do I need?

We recommend at least three for small loads, and 5 or more for med.-large loads.
