Im a heavy equipment and crane mechanic - when I'm three stories up a lattice boom assembling a crane or in a difficult to reach area at the center section of a machine and I need a small hammer right now, I'm not climbing back down or crawling back out - the leatherman is gonna get abused. I've been ruining Wave+ tools doing that about once every 9-12 months for the last 6 years. I stumbled across this and so far it's been exactly what I needed for those once in a while times I need to straighten and knock out large cotter pins, knock out a bolt or fitting

The only problem I have is the edge of the razor blade. Not the cutting edge the top of the razor is sometimes sharp. I have cut myself reaching into my pocket. So now before I install a new blade I take my file to the top and remove the bur. Other than that amazing tool.

I installed the mod to replace the straight blade on my Surge. It fit fine, works well and I am completely satisfied. Sadly, BackcountryCad uses the crackheads at USPS for deliveries and they lost, or stole, the first delivery and I was made to wait for a second attempt.

Fits perfectly. Actually made of metal unlike others on the market.

This little guy has come in handy already. Well-made, holds bits securely.
