Ciao! Mi chiamo Bre, ma online uso anche il mio alias artistico, Modsecai. Sono un'artista di 22 anni e disegno da quando ho imparato a tenere in mano una matita. Fino a qualche anno fa, mi dedicavo esclusivamente all'arte tradizionale, con disegni a grafite, a matita colorata e persino qualche acquerello. La mia musa ispiratrice per l'arte sono sempre stati gli animali. A sei anni ho ricevuto il mio primo libro di disegni di animali. E anche se all'epoca non lo sapevo, questo libro avrebbe segnato l'inizio di una vita dedicata all'arte.
Fin da piccola desideravo disperatamente disegnare cavalli e lupi alla perfezione, e ho passato ore e ore a cercare di capire come disegnarli. Ho seguito tutorial, ho partecipato a concorsi 4-H e ho persino partecipato a un paio di mostre d'arte organizzate dalla mia scuola. Crescendo, il mio interesse per altre specie animali è aumentato. Ho ricevuto un'enciclopedia sugli animali per Natale e l'ho letto per intero. Quello è stato uno dei momenti più cruciali della mia carriera artistica, perché è stato dopo aver letto quel libro che ho iniziato a cimentarmi nel disegno di altre specie.
Soprattutto negli ultimi due anni, ho iniziato a dedicare moltissimo tempo alla creazione artistica. Ho capito che l'arte non è solo qualcosa da apprezzare, ma qualcosa che cattura un momento nel tempo. Non solo la mia abilità artistica, ma anche l'animale che sto disegnando. Credo che riuscire a immortalare le creature e la bellezza naturale di questo pianeta sia davvero una delle cose più belle che io possa fare, e mi dà molta soddisfazione e felicità. Ciò che voglio condividere con gli altri sono gli animali.
Con la crescita del mio negozio nell'ultimo anno, ho imparato molto e vorrei continuare a espandermi. L'anno scorso, ho iniziato a donare parte dei ricavi alla conservazione della fauna selvatica, un obiettivo che mi ero prefissato l'anno precedente e che sono molto felice di aver raggiunto. Nel 2025, le mie opere hanno raccolto oltre 50 dollari per la conservazione della fauna selvatica! Quest'anno, nel 2026, spero di poter aggiungere altri adesivi e forse qualche nuovo articolo qui sul negozio. Non vedo l'ora di continuare a creare arte e condividerla con tutti!

Hello! My name is Bre, but I also go by my artist alias online, Modsecai. I am a 22 year old artist, and I have been drawing since the time I could hold a pencil. Up until a few years ago, I had been doing entirely traditional art. This included graphite drawings, colored pencil drawings, and even some watercolor. My muse for art has always been animals. When I was six, I got my first animal drawing book. And although I didn't know it at the time, this book would be the beginning of a lifetime of making art.
I so desperately from a young age wanted to draw horses and wolves perfectly, and I spent hours upon hours of my time trying to understand how to draw them. I followed tutorials, entered my artwork in 4-H competitions, and even got in a couple art shows through my school. As I aged, my interest in other species of animals increased. I received an encyclopedia of animals for Christmas, and I read the entire book. That was one of the most pivotal moments in my artwork, because it was after reading that book that I began to dabble with drawing other species.
In the last two years especially, I have begun to dedicate lots and lots of my time to creating art. I've realized that art is not only something to be enjoyed, but something that captures a moment in time. Not only necessarily my artistic ability, but whatever animal I am drawing. I think being able to capture the creatures and the natural beauty of this planet is truly one of the greatest things I can do, and it brings me a lot of fulfillment and happiness in doing so. What I want to share with others is animals.
As my shop has grown over this past year, I've learned a lot and would like to continue to expand. Last year, I was able to start donating portions of sales to wildlife conservation, which was a goal from the previous year that I'm very happy to have met. In 2025, my art raised over $50 dollars for wildlife conservation! This year in 2026, I'm hoping to be able to add some more stickers and perhaps some new items here on the shop. I can't wait to continue making art and sharing it with everyone here!
