My days are shaped by letters. English, kanji, hiragana, katakana — Japan has so many forms of writing, each with its own rhythm and mood. I love the quiet beauty of traditional brush strokes, where every line carries the breath of the writer. And I equally love the playful energy of Japanese pop culture lettering — bold, bouncy, and full of joy.
