Lampwork beads and hand made jewelry
My Etsy shop started out as a place where jewelry designers and lampwork bead collectors could purchase unique hand made glass beads. I enjoy the whole process very much, from purchasing all the wonderful American, Italian, and German glass from various manufacturers, to the design stage where I jot down ideas and color combinations that I have been working on, and then on to the torch where I get to apply my concepts to glass or sometimes take off on another totally different tangent!
Along the way, metalsmithing became a necessary addition to my own jewelry making process. I work mostly in copper – much of it is recycled. I find copper easy to work with and I like the way it's color compliments my style of lampwork beads. I have been acquiring the tools of the trade and have broadened my scope from just making lampwork beads into making my own line of copper components for use in my own jewelry which I now sell in my shop, but mostly at juried art fairs around our city and near by.
Select Juried Shows:
Art in the Park – Windsor, Ontario
Made in Windsor – Windsor, Ontario
Art by the River – Amherstburg, Ontario
Winter Wonders – Birmingham, Michigan
Bead Bonanza – Southfield, Michigan
LUV Local – Windsor, Ontario

I hope you take some time to look around my shop and that you will find a piece to add to your collection or a unique lamp work bead/set to design with. I also welcome custom work if you have something special in mind. Just convo me and we can work together to make your concept a reality! There is never any obligation to the customer when I take on a custom order. Before I list the finished order for purchase, pictures are sent out for your approval. If it’s not to your liking, no worries, we can continue working together to make it just right or I can always list it for sale in my shop. Custom orders tend to stretch my creativity and allow the customer to realize their own artistic design – a win-win for everyone!
One of the things I love most about Etsy is the worldwide connection to so many people through the conversation tool and feedback with so many wonderful customers! I never dreamed I'd have customers from all over the world and that an online shop could be so warm and gratifying!
