I have thousands of vintage loose rhinestones which are unused/new from old stock that I am so happy to offer the artisans of Etsy. I'm glad to have found a place where I can cater to a community who can use my beautiful baubles for their creative endeavors - I have an especially amazing Swarovski rhinestone inventory for those of you who repair vintage jewelry, create your own masterpieces, and those who work with epoxy and polymer clay. In addition to all of the loose rhinestones I have here I also have added brass findings as well as stones in settings to my sale inventory.

Most of the rhinestones I have up for sale are genuinely vintage. They are surplus stock from closed costume jewelry factories out east. Most of them have come to me in their original packages - unopened since the 1950's and 1960's. I take these packages and put together useful lots in various groupings. Whether it is by color, shape, size, or type, each lot is carefully assembled in my wee workspace at home.

There is something... extraordinary about loosening the ties on an old box and seeing the layers of treasure that were carefully packed between delicate pieces of tissue by someone long ago. I absolutely love vintage glass, jewelry, and findings and what I do here is a labor of love.

Every once in awhile one of the original package wraps will have deteriorated and I’ve no choice but to transfer the stones to a different container and in this case, I will not have a photo of the original package in my listing, however I do my best to always keep my stones in their original packages as long as possible as Swarovski’s method of packaging has proved to be tried and true for nearly a century. They are the absolute experts on the care and storage of their crystal - I open packages from 1947 and the stones look as if they’ve never been touched.

Please note, the stones and items that I sell are primarily vintage. They are unused vintage stock but they are not brand new. While many of them do look brand new, some of them will undoubtedly show the signs of being vintage stones. My lots often contain a variety of stones from fire polished, demi-fin, and ttc to moonstones, opaques, swarovski and machine cut stones.

When you look at the photos in my listings, please take the time to click and zoom in on them and also to carefully read the entire listing. I try to provide all the necessary information there and I take very detailed photos of my items so that you can get a good idea of the quality, color, size, etc. of the items you are interested in. Just keep in mind that monitor settings may cause a slight variance in color from my camera to your computer.

I work very hard on this business but I'm a one woman show and sometimes get very, very busy. Occasionally I make mistakes (can you believe it? lol) and so I ask that if I do that you are patient and communicate with me so that we can resolve any issue and also so you can be 110 percent happy with your purchase as that is my goal.
