Hello crafting friends, my name is Sherry, owner of Moonlighting For Fun. This business got started in 2018 from encouragement from my friends and family to start selling my handmade items that I would sew or crochet. I called it Moonlighting For Fun because I work as a full-time Pediatric Medical Biller and I do this in my spare time, so I “Moonlight” and it’s “Fun” because I love all aspects of crafting, it brings me great pleasure to do this on the side.

So how did I get here? I was selling handmade items and I love to thrift, so as I’m out and about I am picking up craft items for myself and I’m seeing all these other craft kits, tools and supplies for crafts I don’t necessarily use but are in great shape and they aren’t made anymore, but surely someone would want? So I thought, I might put this in my shop. I did and it sold like hot cakes!! Then it took off from there. My store shifted from handmade to full-blown craft supplies.

My focus has been to look for items that are not made anymore, that are in great condition or just need a little touch up. Maybe sewing patterns that look a little rough on the outside but are still uncut and are still able to be made into a finished item. I want to find vintage items that appeal to older generations. I also offer newer items to sell, when I chose these products my aim was to look for items that were different from the supplies you would find at big box stores.

I am devoted to making sure the customer is satisfied and the product meets your expectations. I try to be as transparent as possible. If you have questions whatsoever, I am here to answer them.
