2021 Holiday Shipping Update;
Here is the USPS recommended final shipping deadlines and our recommended ordering deadlines.
USPS Domestic;
1st Class Package is Dec 17th. Order from Moonson Designs by Dec 14th. Our current processing time is 1-2 days. Most orders right now are shipping on the 2nd day.
USPS Priority Mail is Dec 18th. Order from Moonson Designs by Dec 15th. Our current processing time is 1-2 days. Most orders right now are shipping on the 2nd day.
USPS Priority Mail Express is Dec 23rd. Order from Moonson Designs by Dec 20th. Our current processing time is 1-2 days. Most orders right now are shipping on the 2nd day.
Remember, these are recommended and suggested dates from USPS...not a guarantee.
1st Class and Priority are not guaranteed. Priority Express is guaranteed. The guarantee refunds the shipping cost if not delivered on time. It does not guarantee the package will deliver on time.
International orders will not deliver for Christmas unless you upgrade to Global Express Guaranteed and ship by Dec 20th.

Several updates as of 10272021;
We just checked and USPS is still not allowing packages to Australia due to COVID concerns. We hope that we can reopen to our Australian customers soon.
We have a couple of new items that have been added. For quite some time we have been trying to obtain several stamps that we believe will be extremely popular. We were finally able to procure those stamps and the Stethoscope Cuffs depicting the coveted stamps have been Listed.
We have also added the Paw Print and Heart Spiral Wrap. This Listing is a great alternative to the Cat Spiral Wrap that we currently offer.
Reference shipping to all other areas currently available on our Etsy Shop. We continue to see intermittent delays to the far NE and far SE areas of the US. Some packages are shipping as normal and others are taking several additional days to deliver. Of course, these delays are primarily due to complications from the Pandemic. Low staffing, high package volume and other conditions (Mother Nature) are the major contributors to these delays.
International packages continue to follow the same pattern. Most packages will ship in the 14-21 day range. However, we have been seeing several International packages of late take an additional 3-5 days to deliver. The most prominent delay is the package processing through the Global Processing Center. Again, high package volume and low staffing are causing the delays.
Lastly, we all have been warned...buy early! If you are looking for gifts, we can help you. But buy now. because we do not know what shipping will look like in the next couple of weeks and if we will be able to continue to procure ample supplies to get us through the holiday season.

***Late August Shop Update***
As we progress into the last quarter of 2021, we wanted to keep you updated on several situations affecting Moonson Designs.
Shipping issues within the US have ebbed substantially. We do still see occasional 1-3 day delays to the South, Southeast and Northeast areas of the US. The majority of these delays are due to the lack of employees processing USPS packages and the continued uptake in volume level experienced by all package carriers. USPS is going to raise shipping rates for the upcoming holiday season and we can expect additional delays in actual deliveries of packages as the holiday shopping volume increases. Please plan ahead and order your holiday gifts allowing a 1-2 week extended shipping time.
International packages seem to be moving through the Global Processing Center fairly quickly. Most International packages are taking 14-21 days to deliver.
Covid-19 continues to have affects on not only shipping but the ability to acquire supplies. We are not immune to the many issues contributing to business across the world. Supplies are becoming more expensive and sometimes even scarce. Moonson Designs is doing their best to keep pricing competitive. However, we may need to make the decisions to increase our individual item pricing to sustain our bottom line through this year and into 2022.

***SHIPPING UPDATE*** Important information...please read.
USPS, and all Postal Systems for that matter, continue to have issues and delays due to multiple reasons, mostly related to the the Pandemic.
We spoke to the USPS Clerk at our local Post Office after receiving numerous inquiries into orders not moving. The Clerk advised that the Denver Distribution Center (where our packages will usually transfer to from our Westminster Post Office) is extremely overwhelmed with package volume and has staffing issues so abundant they are requiring mechanics to sort mail.
Bottom line...packages are going to move slowly. This issue applies to all Etsy Shops as well as most on-line ordering venues. As was the case during the holiday season, it appears that you can expect a package to take 2-7 days longer than normal.
Packages going to the Denver Distribution Center may not even be touched for 3-5 days as they do not have enough employees to unload the trailers.
As we have in the past, we must remind our customers that we have absolutely no influence or control over the USPS. We can not tell them to move a package more quickly or specify where a package should be sent to avoid delays. We wish we could, but we simply can not.
We ask that you consider these delays when ordering. If you are on a timeline please let us know so we can advise of current conditions.
If you have already ordered and are experiencing delays, we ask you take this information under consideration before asking us to provide updates.

Unfortunately, we continue to see delays in package movement not only Globally, but within the United States. Delays in the U.S. can be 1-3 days. Internationally, they can be as high as 10-14 days. For International packages, once the package has passed through the Global Processing Center in Illinois, they seem to be moving normally, except to certain regions. As we have mentioned before, ALL Postal Services are experiencing high package volume and diminished staffing. Please consider this when ordering. We continue to pride ourselves with 1-2 day processing for your daily orders, but we cannot guarantee once in the hands of the Postal Service (s).
We continue to not accept orders from most Middle Eastern areas and are considering not accepting orders from the United Kingdom as several orders have been lost or taken over 1 month to deliver. While we value any customer that orders from us, we do not want to continue to inconvenience our International customers and frankly, we cannot continue to afford sending replacement orders to these International locations.

A message from Moonson Designs concerning the current COVID-19 virus situation.
Moonson Designs is a small, home based business. We are a on-line only business and do not employ any staff other than ourselves. We are actively participating in the suggested personal hygiene protocols within our home and shop. Processing and Shipping Time
Moonson Designs is proud to offer a 1-2 day processing of orders. We do reserve the right to extend the processing time during periods of high volume. We process orders Monday-Saturday. Orders are shipped between 12 pm- 2 pm (Denver, CO) Monday-Saturday. Moonson Designs tries to reserve Sundays for family time but will process orders during high volume periods. Just understand that orders received after 12 pm on Saturdays (Denver, CO) will not actually ship until after 12 pm the following Monday.
Custom and personalized orders
Moonson Designs attempts to accurately depict the various custom components of our product. However, due to supplier inequities, we do reserve the right to make minor changes to the items displayed without notification to the Buyer. Examples include slight variations in charm appearance, slight variations in coloring of the stamping or the manner in which the items is packaged and delivered. Moonson Designs will make every effort to contact the Buyer if a custom component cannot be completed as requested. This includes too many characters to be stamped, changes in layout, items temporarily out of stock or major changes to appearance.

Another quick note and update. We have modified a couple of our FAQ's to reflect our experiences with the USPS during this holiday season. Simply, First Class and Priority 1-3 Day Shipping Rates DO NOT guarantee a delivery date! Any date given is purely an estimate. Volume in the USPS network obviously plays a role in that delivery time.
Ultimately, once a package is in the hands of the USPS, Moonson Designs has no control or authority over the USPS to direct the handling of the package. We will work with customers on a case by case basis in an attempt to resolve issues concerning delays, lost packages or any other issues related to shipping.
