I never planned to start a clothing label. I was just a kid with a sketchbook, sitting on the worn-out carpet of my grandmother’s attic, surrounded by lace curtains, dusty vinyl records, and old botanical encyclopedias. She taught me the names of every flower in her garden – roses that smelled like rain, sad violets, and midnight-blooming jasmine. But she also loved gothic cathedrals, crumbling stone angels, and the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe.
Years later, I found myself in a tiny studio, designing my first dress. It had faded roses tangled with thorny vines, printed on a dark, moody background. Something clicked. That dress wasn't just fabric – it was a piece of my soul.
