Hi, I'm Lili, a designer and illustrator based in the United Kingdom. I'm also a mum of three, a tea lover, and a colour enthusiast.
I was formerly the head designer at an international design company based in Frankfurt, Germany. I've spent much of my working life making things look just right, and I still spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about colours, paper, and tiny details most people probably wouldn't notice.
I have a particular weakness for things that are almost right: the shade that's nearly perfect; the little detail that refuses to sit quite where it should; the design that looks finished until I look at it again. Perhaps it's a Libra thing. I like to think I'm fairly decisive, but give me two nearly identical shades of pink and we may be here for some time.
Joe and I have started MoshiMoshi in 2016, with a fondness for Japanese stationery and a habit of taking paper, pens and tiny details rather more seriously than is strictly necessary.
Alongside the stationery we source from makers we admire, I create our own original designs, including stickers and journaling kits designed and made in the UK. The process can take longer than expected. Apparently, “close enough” is not a setting I was designed with.
I also run The Pool Club, our sister shop, where I create digital planner stickers, printable journaling kits and ephemera. It's another home for my illustrations and paper-related preoccupations, this time in a format that doesn't require a trip to the post office.
