Hi there! My name is Laura, and I am the creator and owner of Mother Truffula. Over the past few years, I have found myself entering the world of Do-it-yourself projects, and that led me to formulating my own recipes for each product of the Mother Truffula line. I found that many all-natural items out there had very similar, conventional ingredients, and I was finding that there was so much more that the plant-world had to offer. Many Mother Truffula items are packed with several oils and plant butters because each and every one of them have unique and outstanding benefits. I also found that items that were labeled as "all-natural" also came with a hefty jump in price. That is not what Mother Truffula is about. All Mother Truffula items are handmade right in my kitchen so there are low overhead fees- and you benefit from those savings!
I am one person, and I will always talk to each and every one of you like you are also a person- not just a customer through a computer screen. It's really critical for me to give personal care to each one of my orders from you. I'm not a robot. :) I package each order using upcycled materials(paper, bubble wrap, bubble envelopes, etc.) and paper tape, and I make my own "newspaper envelopes" as the orders will allow so that you can recycle your order's packaging along with your newspaper at home! I also wrap bars of soap in upcycled brown mailing paper or newspaper. It is absolutely crucial to me to be as environmentally-conscious as possible, but I'm always striving to improve. There are always ways to get better, right?
