Added 17th August 2023: For customers in the USA, because of recent issues with delivery times, I will from now on only post items with tracking. This will be at an extra cost for the buyer, please send me a message before purchasing if you want me to calculate the extra expense before you make the payment. I will amend the postage cost on the listings to reflect this.

Mrs Longstocking has been collecting lovely old things and textiles to sell in this Etsy shop. I love the Moomins and vintage Marimekko patterns! Some items are literally rescued from my Granny´s attic, others are from my own collection or made by me. Delivery times vary and may even be weeks in some cases if using economy mail. I post items as soon as possible after receiving the order, often even on the same day.*

Customers Outside Europe:

Items ordered from outside Europe are posted using economy service. This is simply because the cost of Priority post is very expensive in Finland. PLEASE NOTIFY ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TRACKING or PRIORITY MAIL. These will be possible at extra cost.

We have not received this fabric and suspect that something is wrong with the shipping. Update: We finally received the fabric on 9/12, due to issues with shipping. Seller was eager to make things right and kept in contact with me for shipping updates, etc.

Beautiful scarf in perfect condition. Neatly packaged and arrived very quickly. The pictures seller had uploaded were excellent quality. However, the screen display or lighting made the base colour paler whereas in real life it's a greener shade. Still, a beautiful classic scarf.

Hat finally arrived. Took a lot longer than I and the seller thought but all is well. Seller responded to messages. The hat is slightly tinier than other beanies, but this is vintage. It fits like a glove. Love the hat and will enjoy it especially around Christmas time!

I ordered these for my kid who spends a fair amount of time outdoors in the cold weather. We recently had a day where the temperature was in the 20s the entire time. Her feet stayed toasty and warm! I love these socks! They look great and they keep her feet warm. Awsome seller with awesome stuff. I would order another pair if they were available in a kids size.

Shipping

I will be using Economy mail most of the time, especially for a bit heavier items. Economy is slower than Priority but much cheaper. if you want me to use Priority mail, please let me know. Please be patient with delivery times, the Covid-19 is affecting postal services in some countries more than others.

Custom duties, taxes and fees required by your country upon delivery to you are customer's responsibility.I am not responsible for items lost in the post. Please notify me if you want to purchase tracking and/or insurance.

Packing material: I try to use recycled and/or earth friendly packing material to reduce waste.
