About Me
Hi there! My name is Elle and I'm an artist, illustrator and small business owner. I studied textile design in school and started my career as a corporate artist. I transitioned to trend forecasting but missed making art and using my hands. Finally in the summer of 2024 I decided to get back into art and created Murray St Studio. I spend most of my time outside of my 9-5 working on art for my small business in the hope that one day this will be my full time job!
All of my art is hand painted with acrylic, watercolor or oil pastels first and then turned into various goods! I focus on bright color and playful concepts. I love to bring a childlike sense of nostalgia and imagination to my designs and I hope you find a little bit of joy as you look around!
I also love giving second hand clothes new life through upcycling by embroidering and block printing!
