Mush A Bug
I am a wife of a sailor, a mother of a toddler and a four year old, a Koi cat, a Buddy dog, and a maker of a home. In my spare time, I craft.
Ever since I can remember, I was always outside helping my dad build something. From houses and furniture and additions to our own home, we were always making something. I learned all of my knowledge of wood and building from my dad and I have always had a love for wood and its different grains, and painting, and making!
Now I am using that knowledge to make my own art using old and weathered wood, nails, hammer, and string. I provide my clients with one of a kind, personalized pieces that will last a life time. I adore being able to make pieces that you are proud to display in your homes!
The name of my shop was actually created by my beautiful two year old daughter, Eleanora. One day while driving home, screaming broke out in the backseat. "MOMMA! I CAN"T MUSH A BUG!!!!", she screamed. Apparently she saw a fly that had landed on her window that threw us both into a panic, thus the name of my shop Mush Bug, was born. My shop, and my life, are a mish-mush of beautiful things that I love and sometimes create. And that little girl, the first thing I created, she's my bug:)
