My music series is about my love story.
I am fascinated by pigments moving like music over wet expanses of quiet paper. Like a musician, I corral dozens of colors into joyful ensembles. I hope that these colorful music-themed works can be instruments of joy for your home.
I began working in watercolors as an exchange student in Germany in 2002. Watercolor was a quick and portable medium that I used to record my experiences and travels.
When I returned home I married my high school sweetheart, a musician and now a music educator. We live in upstate SC in a home full of love and musical instruments.
