Announcement    WARM WEATHER SHIPPING TIPS ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE SUMMER 2024-Please read below

Welcome to My Best Friend! We have been baking cakes and treats for Dogs since 2007. It is our passion to not only provide you with a beautiful treat to celebrate all your pup's special occasions, but to provide a carefully crafted recipe with your dog's dietary needs in mind.

Thank you for your order! Keep in mind we need 10 business days notice from order date to the SERVE DATE, so please plan ahead.

We will usually ship about 5-7 business days prior to your serve date. This shipping schedule allows plenty of transit time while assuring you will receive a fresh cake or cookie for your dog. If you did not put a SERVE DATE in your order notes, please message us through Etsy. WE MUST HAVE A SERVE DATE TO SCHEDULE SHIPPING.

WARM WEATHER SHIPPING TIPS:
1. We recommend our customers order the gel ice pack(s) found on our home page to help keep your cake or cupcakes cool during warm weather. This link will take you directly to the ice pack listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/608628206/gel-ice-pack-2pk?ref=shop_home_active_2&crt=1
2. As added protection, all cakes and cupcakes will be shipped frozen unless we have less than 48 hours to ship. While in-transit, the cake/cupcakes will gradually thaw. Therefore the addition of gel ice packs will help your cake stay cool while in-transit. The ice packs will be thawed when delivered. Please recycle and reuse them.
3. Please make sure someone will be available at the delivery address to bring your package inside as soon as it is delivered. Extended exposure to high temps will soften or melt the icing. Melted icing is still fine for your dog to eat but it doesn't look pretty.
4. If nobody can be home on the day delivery is expected, we recommend you request your order be "held" at the post office for pick up to avoid being out in the heat too long on delivery day. This request needs to take place prior to shipping.
5. SUMMER "HOT SPOTS" such as ARIZONA, FLORIDA and TEXAS. We cannot control the weather, so please follow as many of the above "tips" as possible for your situation.
6. During warm weather months, if the above recommendations are not followed, we cannot be held responsible if a cake should melt during delivery.
