I put my heart on a string and called it a necklace
I began making jewelry in January of 2010. I did not know it at the time but I was about to start a great love affair with the craft. Just like any great relationship I started small. I was making or remaking jewelry mostly for myself out of old costume jewelry. I began to show off my new love to my friends and family and became overwhelmed with the responses. 'Beautiful.' 'Lovely!' 'Where did you buy that?' 'I can't believe you made that!' I began selling some of my pieces in person but it wasn't enough to satisfy my passion. I first opened a shop on Etsy in 2011 and have been growing my shop ever since.
I was always told that I could do anything that I put my mind to. I honestly started out knowing nothing about making jewelry to knowing how to do so many things I get a phone call at least once a week from a close friend or family member asking me how to make something work.
I started making simple beaded necklaces and earrings to making my own charms by hand from polymer clay, extravagant necklaces and bracelets, elegant earrings, I knit and sew. I always take time to teach myself new techniques and jot down new ideas. Every recommendation that has ever been suggested has never been taken lightly. I am always up for a new challenge.
I take a great sense of pride in everything that I make. My jewelry may not be made from the finest stones but everything in my shop is made with care and quality so that each piece is durable and long lasting.
I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I enjoyed making them.
