My life in Bookbinding
I decided to go to library school. While I was working toward my MLIS degree, I discovered that there were some bookbinding classes offered in the evenings, in the basement of the University's library. They were non-credit courses that could be included on my official transcript, and I thought that was just spectacular. So I enrolled. I did one term of bookbinding. Then another, then another. I finished my MLIS and since then, I have spent much more time bookbinding than I have directly in the field of librarianship.
I really enjoy making books and the process of designing books and working out new ideas. I have been bookbinding for over twelve years now, and I still feel like I'm only beginning to scratch the surface of bookbinding knowledge. I marvel at the work of master binders around the world and can only imagine someday creating at their level. As I work toward that goal, I continue to learn as much as I can about all facets of the craft. It is an enjoyable journey, knowing that I am doing what I love every day.

All of my books are ready for shipping on the same day as purchase, or the very next day (unless you have purchased a customized or made-to-order book).
Within Canada, shipping time is often less than a week.
To the USA, shipping is typically about two weeks and can be a bit longer to some of the more distant locales.
For all other countries, please allow 3 or 4 weeks for delivery.
Tracking is not included
The shipping options that I have available are the most economical options, and they do not automatically include tracking. I can add tracking to your package for an additional shipping fee. If you really want to track your package, please contact me and I will determine how much it will cost and add it to your bill.
Shipping prices as quoted are for Canada Post Expedited service for delivery within Canada. International shipping prices are for Canada Post Airmail service. Some slim books can be shipped as oversized letter mail. If you would like to have more shipping options, just convo me before paying and I'll let you know what else is available.
I try to make sure that my packages are very well packed & correctly addressed. If you want insurance and/or tracking for your package, please ask me before you order. If you think your package has been lost in the mail please let me know so I can make an insurance claim and get your money back (with Canada Post, only the shipper can submit such a claim).
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your book, just send it back to me within a month. Send it in its original package and in its original condition, and I will give you a full refund of the purchase price. I will not refund shipping fees.
