5 out of 5 starsi bought a few of these candles as gifts, and it was a great addition! my issue was with the seller's communication. i understand that life happens, and especially in emergency situation, delays will occur and you cannot always relay that to the buyer instantly. but, as mentioned, i bought the candles as gifts weeks before i needed, so to have them be not shipped on time and to not have that communicated to me until i reached out on the day (last day on the delivery time range) i was supposed to receive it, was very inconvenient. my farewell gift for my coworkers did not get in on time for them to get on their last day of work.

4 out of 5 starsThis necklace is very pretty and is accurate to the show! the only thing I didn’t expect was that the chain was a but short, but i should’ve read the description better. Definitely recommend this if your neck is small enough for it!! I got it as a gift for a friend and it was a hit. Shipping was also exceptionally fast.

WOODEN WICK CANDLE BURNING TIPS
Trim wick to 3/16”-1/4” before lighting. If wick is too long, wax will not pull up the wick and the wick will extinguish.
Wood wicks do require a little attention before each burn. Gently snap off the ash along the top edge and then light as usual.
After burning for long period of time you notice your flame getting too low, extinguish the flame and let cool. Snap off excess ash along the top of the wick. The flame will return to its proper height.
Do not let any debris from the wick fall into the candle.
Allow the candle to get a full melt pool each time you burn, especially important during first burn. This is to prevent tunneling.
Follow all candle safety guidelines.
WHY DOES MY WOODEN WICK GO OUT?
Sometimes it just needs a re-light to allow the wax to start flowing up the wick.
The wick is too far above the surface of the wax. This is counterintuitive, as we think the longer wick will make a bigger flame, but it will not. The longer the wick the harder it is for the wax to flow up the wick. Make sure the wick is trimmed to the proper height and light as normal.
There is too much ash or burnt section. Gently snap off the excess ash.
Insufficient melt pool forming at the base of the wick. Carefully make a melt pool at the base of the wick while lighting the candle.
How to Light a Wooden Wick
Lighting a wood wick candle is a bit different than lighting a traditional cotton wick. When lighting your candle tilt it on an angle and let the flame travel across the length of the wick so the whole wick is burning evenly. It may take more than once to light your wick, especially on the first go. There's no harm in trying again or if the wick looks too long be sure to trim it down a bit before firing it up. Your wick shouldn't produce smoke or soot, if it is that means it needs to be trimmed.
