Where are the files I just purchased?
Once your purchase is complete, your new files are available for download by clicking your profile image and then navigating to "Purchases and Reviews.
Each purchase you have made will show up on the page, with the most recent first by default. Sometimes it takes a moment or two for the "Download Files" button to appear. If you don't see it, refresh your page in a couple of minutes and look again.
If the file still doesn't show, you will need to contact Etsy as they manage the sale and post-sale.
I downloaded my files but I don't know how to open them
Some files are delivered in .ZIP format. Today, most computers can extract these files without third party software. In Windows, you right click on the file and select "Extract All".
A box will appear, asking you where you would like to store your files. If you want to select a location other than the default, click "Browse" and navigate to the location you prefer. Click "Extract" once your file location is chosen. A new folder with the same name will be created in that location.
Your files are inside that folder.
It works the same on a Mac. Right click on the folder and choose "Uncompress".
My download says it's empty, damaged or corrupted
In this instance, something went snafu in your download. Delete the ZIP file you downloaded and any extracted folders. Return to your Purchases and Reviews page and download the files again. If the problem persists, please reach out via convo. I will work with you to solve the problem.
What's the difference between PNG and JPEG files?
PNG stands for Portable Network Graphics. PNG files, for the purposes of the Creatives Classroom Store, contain no background, so your images can be placed anywhere on your design without a background.
JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group (which really doesn't tell you a thing). A JPEG file will always have a background. It is never transparent.
All papers and clip art in the Digital Whimsy Prints Store come in both JPEG and PNG formats.
However, paper will never have a transparent background. PNG format is preferred for some online work, which is why it is provided.
If you are using clip art and you see a background, you have grabbed a JPEG (or JPG) file instead of a PNG file.

Why do you not accept returns?
Since your product is digital, there is no physical method of returning the product. I have no control over whether or not you continue to use a product once you've purchased it.
If you have a problem with one of my products, I am happy to help you work through it. If the color doesn't quite meet your needs or you are having trouble with downloads, we can work together to get it sorted out.

Why are my files on the Google Drive
Sometimes, files are larger than what Etsy allows shop owners to upload. In those instances, the files are made available on the Google Drive.
You will have full access to all files you purchased without problem. Upon completing your order, you will receive a PDF file which contains the link to your files. Keep this link handy for future use!
