MySweetE

I never realized what I was capable of creating until I made my first name plate. I started with four blank canvases, unfinished wooden letters, and paint that I had laying around the house. It was a shot in the dark, I had no confidence that I could turn those materials into something beautiful. Ella was my motivation, my daughter, who was a newborn at the time. I finished the name plate, painted in the color scheme in her room (brown, pink and white), and hung it up in her room. Over five years later, the name plate is still in her room, and I still love it.
