Dive into the world of cute stationery
Hello,
I'm so happy to meet you here ! But let me introduce myself : I'm Alice, the French illustrator behind My Sweet Paper Card, the sweet gifts & stationery shop for the animal lovers, the people with a Sweet tooth, and the cute stationery lovers !
BUT HOW DID I COME TO MAKE CUTE STATIONERY ?
After graduating in animated film, I realized that even if I loved animation, it was not an industry I wanted to work in. I wasn't finding joy there, so I took a break and worked in a printed house, and I rediscovered the pleasure that stationery can bring you : writing into a nice notebook, sending cards to your loved ones.. I remembered all these years of sending letters to my best friend afar, turning our letters into graphic novels with cute writing paper, stickers, colored envelopes. I also remembered the pleasure of writing in my diary, and realized how much I missed it. I knew then what I wanted to do :
*using my illustration skills to create some cute characters, and turn them into my own stationery products that would bring joy to you and help you feel good about yourself.*
A WIDE RANGE OF CUTE GREETING CARDS & GIFTS
I started my quest into stationery, and gathered all the material needed to make everything at home : a good printer, a paper cutter, good paper.. And I started by making birthday cards and greeting cards, because I felt these were the things that could instantly bring joy to others.
When sending a card or a letter to someone you care about, you are sharing a bit of your happiness with them : When we open our mailbox we typically find bills to pay, taxes, ads... but what an immense pleasure when opening our mailbox we discover an envelope that is not the usual dull envelope, but one with an handwritten address, decorated with cute stickers, containing a colorful card chosen especially for you, filled with a message from a loved one, best wishes for your birthday or just greetings from a friend ! It instantly gives us a smile, and everything is lighter and happier after opening it.
You can also add a little gift along with your card, such as stickers, washi tapes or writing sets to your loved ones, they will be thrilled to discover all these cute goodies along with your cute letter !
BRINGING CUTENESS TO YOUR ORGANIZATION
As a person that needs a lot of organization to keep focused on things, I also love to create products that allow you to get organize in the cutest and most creative way. I don't know about you, but I hate filling dull to do lists with a long list of tasks, and ending the day having done none of the tasks on it.. You then feel as if you haven't been productive, that you haven't accomplished the important things. You feel bad and overwhelmed and the next day you add even more to your list, and it goes in circle.
But when I started planning my month and weeks in a planner, things got much better. Not only is it a good way to stay organized, but you can do it in the cutest way possible and it's a great way of taking some time for yourself as well.
You can also take your bullet journal and start tracking your habits or even preparing your future week, decorating your spread with cute stickers and colourful pieces of washi tapes, that will make your plans sweet and inspirational, so that when checking back on your plans things get less overwhelming.
But if you don't need to plan your week and are more looking for a way to relax, you can also take this me time to do some journaling, writing down your thoughts, your day, in a notebook. Even if you think you don't have much to write, the simple fact of writing is so relaxing and it helps connect you more with your feelings.
