Probably the phrases I heard most often in my childhood were "Get out of that attic..." or "What are you doing in that barn?"
Truth be told, I've always been a snoop. I love to go through other people's attics, garages, basements, and barns. I'm not looking for their dirty little secrets, I'm looking for their secreted little dirt. That one item that they've held onto by mistake. I like finding things that they have forgotten they even had. That's the thrill for me.
My shop started as a way to justify my ever growing obsession. I've always bought and sold vintage and antiques, but usually the selling end of it was to private collectors, other pickers, or vending at the occasional local show. With my ever growing inventory, it became necessary for me to find an outlet where I could reach a broader landscape of collectors and vintage enthusiasts.
I've been fortunate enough so far to build relationships with buyers and sellers alike, and have formed friendships that go well beyond the "walls" of this virtual marketplace.
