Photographs of nature, why I do what I do!
Living the dream in Chudleigh! My husband and I are so fortunate to be able to spend our days doing what we love... Making a living being creative in the picturesque Meander Valley in Tasmania.
Born in Hobart (Tasmania) in 1986, I was lucky enough to have parents with an appreciation for the beauty of this island. They took me to visit many magical places around the state throughout my childhood.
My love for Tasmania’s forests was the inspiration for my completion of a Bachelor of Environment and Wilderness Studies at the University of Tasmania (2005-2008). I then travelled overseas for thirteen months and returned with an even deeper appreciation for how unique Tasmania is. I continued to study science in 2010, completing an honours in Soil Carbon. I then commenced a PhD but decided to leave so I could focus on my passion for photography.
I use my photographic images to create beautiful jewellery so that people all over the world can enjoy aspects of nature in Tasmania and other places that I am lucky enough to explore.
Sustainability is a huge focus for me and I make every effort to ensure my products have a minimal impact on our earth's resources. I always use either recycled or sustainable materials wherever possible.
