Hello, My name is Krystal. I started creating when I was a young child. One of my first memories was my cousin and I working together to make beaded jewelry. We went door to door selling them in the neighborhood. I would forgo a trip to Toy’R Us any day to be able to raid the aisle of crafting kits sold at Michael’s Craft Store. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was in grade school. In my teens I expanded my interests greatly. I learned to paint, write poetry, wire art, sewing, acting, set design, photography, mixed media, wood working, wood burning, resin work, sand art, quilting, and the list goes on. If have dabbled in all sorts of creativity. In middle school I won a statewide award with my design of a promotional poster for a reading campaign.
The myriad of skills I learned throughout my childhood have served me well in adult life. I am fortunate that when I find myself in need of a solution I cannot find, I create something to fill the need. I enjoy sharing my latest creations and fun on my social media pages. I post some of my bloopers, personal creations, and one-of-a-kind requests.
I am an avid animal lover. Throughout my life I have shared my home with cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, and sugar gliders. At one point I had my home was busting at the seams with nine kitties, 3 large dogs, and 2 sugar gliders. Over the recent years most of my pets have gotten older and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Currently I have three Bunny Butt Kitties (aka tail-less Manx mixes) and a Great Dane who keep me company and test out new creations. All of my pets, past and present, have come from various rescue organizations. I also have a revolving door of foster pets for the three local rescue groups I volunteer with.
