The maker of sleepy shelf animals

NORDbor was born in Jan 2020, when I finally took the leap to leave my desk job to realise my dream of working for myself, doing something I'm passionate about.

I've been a painter and portrait artist all my life but my sculpting journey started with the Chameleon. He popped up as an idea I just couldn't get out of my head - back when I knew nothing of clay or silicone moulds, but by trial and error (more errors than I'd like to admit) I figured out a way of making my little statuettes come to life

I fell in love with the process and from that, other animals have joined the family and more will inevitably follow

I use stone plaster to mould my statuettes and every creation is unique with their perfect imperfections.

I spend my days in my studio - sculpting, painting, procrastinating
