Every Photograph Has a Story
Hi, I’m Sandy, the photographer behind NSC Photography.
My journey with photography began when I was a young girl, learning with a Pentax K1000 under the guidance of my dad. He taught me the fundamentals of photography, how to shoot in manual mode, and gave me the foundation for something that would eventually become a lifelong passion and career.
I’ve now spent nearly two decades working professionally as a photographer. Over the years, my camera has taken me in many directions—from weddings and senior portraits to dogs, working K9s, wildlife, and the outdoors.
Some of my favorite experiences have taken me west, where I’ve made numerous trips to document wild horses and traveled through Colorado and Wyoming photographing elk, moose, and other wildlife. For six years, I also worked alongside a Military and Police K9 trainer, photographing and filming working dogs while helping train some incredible K9s.
My work has received numerous awards and has been published in a variety of magazines, but the part of photography I continue to love most is being behind the camera with animals and in wild places.
The photographs offered in my shop come from those experiences—real wildlife, landscapes, and moments I’ve encountered along the way. I photograph wildlife ethically and with respect for the animals and their habitat. For me, the experience and the animal always come first.
I hope when one of my photographs finds its way into your home, it brings a little piece of that wild place with it.
