From rags to wrench-knives!
In fall of 2017, I found a rusted adjustable wrench behind a workbench. I looked at the wrench and saw the outline of a cool knife, if it could be forged out. I gave it a try and managed to make my first wrench knife. I showed the knife around on the internet, and got a great reception. With that success under my belt, making knives became my new hobby. I gathered more and better tools, studied videos and articles online, borrowed books from the library, and kept making knife after knife for my personal collection. In 2020, I had advanced enough that I decided to retry making my original wrench knife, to see what I could do better. When I went showing the new, improved wrench knife around, a large part of the reception was people asking if they could purchase the knife. I decided to make more wrench knives specifically for sale, and from that point on my hobby quickly morphed into a part-time job making knives and selling them here on my Etsy shop. I've made and sold over 1,000 knives since then, and have no intention of stopping!
