About Me
I am a creative based out of Oklahoma, but I was born and raised in Iowa. I've always had a love for the arts, but it became a key part of my life in 2020 when I started to paint as a way to combat my depression and anxiety. In early 2021, I finally decided to take my friends and family's advice and launch my business.
I work primarily with acrylic paint on glass, watercolor on paper with ink detailing, and digital illustration to create carefully curated artwork. I particularly enjoy painting wedding bouquets.
"Rei" is a shortened version of my middle name, Reiko. My grandmother's name was Reiko and I'm excited to carry her and my Japanese roots with me as I grow my business.
I have a beautiful family consisting of my husband, Jacob, daughter, Lola (due fall of 2022), goldendoodle, Dorothy, and golden retriever, Rigby. I previously worked full time as a marketing professional, but have since transitioned to focusing on my business entirely. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music (especially Queen, Billie Eilish, and 40's jazz records from local antique stores), spending time with my family, crafting, and dreaming of my next travel destination.
