Love for Indian Tradition
Finally, I am here to disclose my story behind this etsy shop. My name is Poonam and I belong to a middle class family of Jaipur, Rajasthan (India). Indian Tradition and Culture is something that is unforgettable. I saw many tourists coming to India and adopting the Indian Culture till the time they remains in India. That is what gave me an opportunity to think of something different.
There are many foreigners and Indians living in foreign countries cannot come to India due to unforeseen factors. I decided to take my Indian Tradition and Culture to them. With that motive in mind, I started with opening an etsy shop in 2019 with only few items listed such has handmade bandhani Dupattas. Within a month, I started getting orders from foreign countries.
Got very good response and love from foreigners and I was happy till COVID hit the world leaving everything at zero :(. My business impacted; Lost sale; no flights for pending orders. Everything was shut down for a very long period of time. But I always had a hope that one day everything will be back on track. Finally, everything was getting stable and restrictions were lifted up slowly and gradually.
From August 2021, I resumed my business again on Etsy and since then, I am working towards spreading my Indian Tradition and Culture worldwide.
