I am an artist and delight in creating beauty. Whether painting a large canvas, creating a sculpture in clay or bronze, an exquisite gown or marvelous fantasy of a hat it is all a celebration of the joy of life as is wearing a wonderful or magical garment.
I learned how to embroider and sew from my mother and grandmother who were gifted with skill and a love of fine needlework. I translated this love into my beaded fantasies; creating my artistic visions with the help of fine craftsmen and embroiderers. Together we made dresses as art for collectors and fine shops, and these pieces are treasures from past collections. The embroiders who made the gowns used to say that their hands were my paintbrushes. They would sit for hours creating my one of a kind embroidered marvels. Art and beauty never go out of style and each fine piece is timeless.
