Can I cancel my order after it is placed?
Every piece we create is custom-made for you after you place your order.
We start investing in your piece right away so we have a strict no-cancellation policy.
We’re also obsessively committed to your happiness with your purchase. And we guarantee everything we make to be free of defects or damage.
If we make a mistake, if you find shipping damage, or if there’s anything wrong with your piece, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
Natural wood color variation, differences in grain and small natural pits, checks, etc are some of the unique qualities we think you'll love and are not considered defects.
How durable is the finish?
We use a clear catalyzed varnish that preserves the natural beauty of the wood while offering excellent protection from spills, heat, etc.
It’s maintenance free and you can clean it simply with a damp cloth.
Spills should not be left to soak. Items hotter than a cup of coffee should be placed on a trivet or other protective surface.
Will I need to wax or oil my piece?
Because our finish is maintenance-free, waxing or oiling is not necessary or recommended.
How should I clean my furniture?
You can clean most of our pieces simply with a damp cloth.
Are your pieces made from solid wood?
Most of our pieces are made from solid wood. For parts where special dimensional stability is required, we use veneer over a stable core panel. Examples include the inset panels of headboards and the inset side panels of some nightstands and dressers.
How will my piece be delivered?
All of our shipments are guaranteed damage-free. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
We ship free to most locations in the lower United States via UPS or freight, depending on the size of the piece and the destination. The shipping method will be chosen at our discretion.

Do you stain your pieces?
We love the natural color and grain of the woods we use. So we use a clear finish with no stain for most of our pieces.
That said, we understand that sometimes you’ve just gotta have a special color, so we do provide stain-matching services by request.
