I am a woodworker from Burlington, Vermont, and I have been shaping wood in one way or another for as long as I can remember. My love for this craft began in my father’s workshop, surrounded by the sound of a hand plane, the smell of sawdust, and the quiet satisfaction of turning raw wood into something beautiful and lasting. Those early lessons shaped not only my skills but also my respect for the patience and precision this work requires.
Today, I carry that same spirit into every piece I make under the name Native Sun Woodworking. My specialty is inlay work, blending native and exotic woods to create furniture and custom designs that tell a story through their patterns and grain. Each piece is built with a balance of tradition and artistry, inspired by the textures of Vermont’s forests, the warmth of Italian craftsmanship, and the intricate patterns found in Native American design.
Although I have been building for decades, this is my first time offering my work for sale. Every item in my shop is made by hand with care, patience, and an eye for the fine details that make each piece unique.
