ABOUT THE BRAND
Native War Paints was created by me, Amanda Pigeon-Scribner. I'm a former Miss Potawatomi Nation and I started frankening at a young age. I enjoyed mixing different colors together to make something new. I always dreamed of owning my own polish line and the Indie polish craze has helped make that dream a reality.
The name Native War Paints refers to my dad's opinion that I was wearing too much make up or a polish that was too flashy as a teenager. Being a conservative Native American man, he didn't approve of my flashy appearance and he would tell me to "Go wash off that war paint."
Nail polish, make up and my culture have always been my passions. Thank you for supporting me, I promise that there will be many more exciting things to come.
**Please note that due to the fact that everything is hand-mixed, there may be slight variations from one bottle to the next. I try my best to make each bottle identical.**
