Nature Spirit is part of a vibrant and creative community in Northern New South Wales near Byron Bay, Australia.
Nature Spirit was created out of a love of designing unique and beautiful clothing that is comfortable and affordable. Our collection is inspired by nature and her natural beauty. All pieces are designed by Josie: I have always had a special connection to the natural world, living sustainably and caring for the earth.
I have always loved creating handmade clothing for my family and friends. I learnt from a young age growing up watching and helping my mother sew. I have also studied dressmaking and workshopped many different arts and crafts. This love of making unique handmade clothing grew into a small local market stall selling my creations inspired by festival and pixie style clothing.
Now as my clothing range becomes more popular I am grateful to be able to collaborate with my production partners who are small family run businesses, one is based in India (Ethical Cloth Production India) and another in Bali (Marisa Cloth Production) . With mutual gratitude my tailors and I work together to create each piece with love and inspiration. I feel fortunate to be able to work with my team under fair and ethical practices. I love designing unique and comfortable clothing and working in partnership with my production partners.
I am helped by my partner Jesse who specializes in stock control and duties, administration, labels and dispatch.
All our Items are shipped from Australia with Australia Post who are very reliable and provide great service.
I believe my designs are adaptable to many occasions, great for parties and festivals but also comfortable and affordable for everyday wear.
