I'm a full time engineer (hence the interest in knitting machines), and a part-time crafter. I'm fascinated by colour and texture. Interests include handknitting, crochet, machineknitting, braiding, weaving and sewing.
Shop policies
I'm happy to make custom orders, which are excluded from my normal returns policy. Please allow 14 days from placement of custom order when buying - in most cases, I will not have the required yarn in stock so it has to be ordered. I work full-time and have other commitments too, and I can only catch the post office on certain days of the week. :)

Custom orders will not be processed (ie requested yarn(s) will not be ordered) until payment has been received.
Shipping
I use 2nd class postage for UK purchases - I will aim to use signed for if it's economic for the buyer, ie "signed for" for socks but plain second class for small items eg scrunchies. For international purchases I try to use International Standard. Shipping is only done on business days and I will aim to have stock item(s) in the mail within 3 days - if I'm away, there will be a note on the shop front indicating when orders will be processed.
International orders can take some time to arrive, and it's outside my control - if the item has not arrived after 5 weeks, please let me know!
I am happy to combine postage on multiple purchases - if it doesn't happen automatically, I will refund the difference when the postage has been calculated and paid. Not all my items weigh the same so it's tricky to have Etsy handle that automatically!
Customs fees for international buyers are the responsibility of the buyer. I recycle my packaging where possible to keep my costs low.
