CARDS YOU CAN'T GET AT HALLMARK
Neem Tree Paper started in May of 2017 in order to fill a gap that creator Hafsa Arain perceived nearly ten years earlier. On the hunt for an Eid-ul-Fitr card, Arain found nothing suitable and decided to make her own. Since then, she has been immersed in the world of paper crafting. Neem Tree is the culmination of those years of building self-taught knowledge about cardstocks, colors, painting, stamping, and embossing.
All cards are handmade and hand-stamped (sometimes with custom designed stamps) by Arain in her small workspace in Westmont, Illinois. With a simple and modern aesthetic, Arain enjoys combining geometry, florals, and texture to create colorful designs and the occasional metallic flair. Cards are designed to be mailed easily.
Neem Tree Paper is dedicated to creating cards, stationery, and paper products for the holidays and celebrations that are less represented in American commerce. Beginning with Eid and Ramadan cards, Neem Tree plans to expand to include Sikh, Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, and Jewish holidays - working with design partners from each tradition.
