How are metal prints made?
HOW ARE METAL PRINTS MADE?
Metal prints are made by a process called dye sublimation. ... The heat and pressure causes the sublimation inks to transform into a gas. The gas is then absorbed through the pores of the polymer coating of the metal and into the base coating. As the metal cools, the pores close and the metal surface stabilizes. The results are simply beautiful.
Sizing details
My fine art giclee prints start at 8 x 10 inches and go up to 12 x 18. I can custom print an order on most images up to 30 x 40 .
My metal prints start at 8x10 inches and go up to 40 x 60 inches. Custom sizes available! I am happy to work with you.
Care instructions
Metal prints can be cleaned simply by wiping with a soft cloth.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All orders are professionally wrapped in sturdy, waterproof mailers to insure they arrive safely. Oversize metal prints require a crate!
Custom and personalized orders
I am happy to work with you to match a color or personalize an order. I have a number of listings that allow you to add names, initials, meaningful dates, etc.
