The small towns in our beloved Western North Carolina are beginning a long process of recovery after the devastation of tropical storm Helene. New Direction Crafters' home is located in the small town of Mars Hill, just outside of Asheville, NC. Your purchase of our products which include distressed, rustic wooden signs for home décor and garden, re-purposed tobacco stake hiking sticks, fine art nature photography and poetry prints will directly support the re-building of the local economy in WNC by supporting artists impacted by the storm. As always, we will continue to donate 10% of the proceeds from each sale to the work of New Direction Mustard Seed, a WNC non-profit that provides assistance to single mothers, some of which were displaced from their homes as a result of tropical storm Helene. Additionally, we have committed to support the work of Mercy Chefs, another non-profit with boots on the ground in WNC that providing professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals to victims, volunteers, and first responders.
